Terms of Service

• By accessing or using Consistar at any URL operated by us — or by clicking “I agree,” completing registration, or making a payment — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
• If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
• Continued use of the Platform after any updates to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised version.

• Consistar is an AI-powered career execution platform designed for Indian professionals across 20+ career streams including Information Technology, UPSC, CA/CMA/CS, MBBS, MBA, Banking, Law, Design, and more.
• The Platform provides a career readiness score generated from a stream-specific intake questionnaire.
• The Platform provides an AI-generated personalized 90-day execution plan with daily tasks and weekly milestones.
• The Platform provides progress tracking, streak monitoring, and milestone logging.
• The Platform provides automated weekly progress emails and accountability nudges.
• Consistar is a career execution and accountability tool. It is not a licensed coaching service, an educational institution, a recruitment agency, or a placement guarantee service.
• Career outcomes depend entirely on your individual effort, market conditions, and factors outside our control.

• You must be at least 18 years of age, or using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
• You must not be prohibited from receiving services under the laws of India or any applicable jurisdiction.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Consistar reserves the right to refuse access or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

• To access core features of the Platform, you must create an account using Google OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• By signing in with Google, you authorize Consistar to access your name and email address as provided by Google.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
• You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@consistar.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One account is permitted per individual user. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or payment requirements is prohibited.
• Consistar is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Free Plan — ₹0

• Includes career readiness score, top 3 career paths, skill gap analysis, and 30-day plan preview.
• No payment information required to access these features.
• Always free, no time limit.

Pro — ₹499 one-time

• Includes full 90-day execution plan, daily task tracker, weekly milestone emails, and progress dashboard.
• Single one-time payment. No recurring billing.

Payment Terms

• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
• We accept UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and EMI.
• By subscribing, you authorize Consistar to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable Indian taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
• Consistar reserves the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' prior notice to existing subscribers.
• Failure to process payment may result in suspension of Pro access until payment is resolved.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• You retain access to Pro features until that date.

Refund Policy

• Monthly subscriptions — no refunds are issued for partial months. Cancellation stops future charges; the current month is non-refundable.
• Annual subscriptions — a pro-rata refund may be issued within 7 days of the annual billing date if you have not accessed your 90-day plan. After 7 days, or once the plan has been generated and accessed, no refund is available.
• Technical failures — if the Platform fails to generate your career plan due to a verified technical error on our side, you are entitled to a full refund for that billing cycle on request.
• Refund requests must be submitted to support@consistar.in with your registered email and Razorpay order details.

• Your 90-day career execution plan, readiness score, skill gap analysis, and weekly email nudges are generated using the Anthropic Claude API (model: claude-sonnet-4-6).
• AI-generated plans are personalized based on your intake responses but are not a substitute for licensed professional career counseling, coaching, or academic advising.
• The accuracy and relevance of your plan depend significantly on the accuracy of the information you provide during intake.
• Career plans are generated once at the time of subscription and stored in our database. The same plan serves your entire subscription unless a plan refresh is explicitly offered.
• AI outputs may occasionally contain errors, outdated information, or generic recommendations. Consistar does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific circumstances.
• Consistar is not responsible for career decisions you make based on AI-generated plan content.
• Your intake responses are transmitted to Anthropic's API servers for plan generation. Your name, email, and payment information are never sent to Anthropic.

• You must use Consistar only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You must not use the Platform to engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the Platform including AI-generated plans, system prompts, or architecture.
• You must not create multiple accounts to bypass subscription limits or repeatedly access free features.
• You must not share your account or subscription access with others not covered by your plan.
• You must not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform.
• You must not upload or transmit content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
• You must not attempt to interfere with the Platform's infrastructure, security, or availability.
• Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Consistar's Intellectual Property

• All content on the Platform — including the Consistar brand, logo, design, AI prompt architecture, plan generation systems, career stream templates, email templates, and software — is owned by or licensed to Consistar.
• Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any Platform intellectual property.

Your Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the personal data and career information you provide during intake.
• You grant Consistar a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your intake data solely for the purpose of generating and improving your career plan within the Platform.

Your Generated Career Plan

• The 90-day career plan generated for you is licensed for your personal use only.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or publish it as your own work.

• Consistar collects and processes your personal data — including name, email address, career intake responses, and usage activity — to deliver the Service.
• We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• Your intake data and career plan are stored securely and used only to power your experience on the Platform.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data by writing to support@consistar.in.

• Consistar does not guarantee job placement, exam success, promotion, salary increase, or any specific career outcome.
• Results depend entirely on your individual effort, qualifications, market conditions, and factors beyond our control.
• The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
• We reserve the right to perform maintenance or updates that may temporarily affect availability.
• Third-party tools or services referenced in your career plan (such as preparation resources, exam portals, or job boards) are independent of Consistar. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of third-party platforms.

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Consistar and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• We are not liable for loss of career opportunity, income, employment, or business arising from use of or reliance on the Platform.
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
• We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
• In all cases, Consistar's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination by you

• You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion at support@consistar.in.
• Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 6.

Termination by Consistar

• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach any provision of these Terms.
• We may terminate your account if you engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the Platform.
• We may terminate your account if you fail to pay subscription fees after a reasonable grace period.
• On termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.
• We may retain your data for a period required by law or legitimate business purposes before deletion.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
• Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by writing to us at support@consistar.in.
• We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days of receiving your notice.

• Consistar reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
• When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
• We will send a notification email to your registered email address at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
• We will display an in-app notice on your next login.
• Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
• If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the Platform before the effective date.
